Comment Workshop for Forest Plan Revision
Bozeman Public Library, Large Conference Room
Sunday, Jan. 28th 2pm – 5pm
 
This event is open to all Wilderness advocates who wish to share ideas and information that will be useful in preparing comments to the Custer Gallatin National Forest regarding the Forest Plan Revision. Comments are due by March 5, 2018. The Forest has proposed a paltry number of acres as Wilderness, overlooking many areas deserving of Wilderness protection in the Gallatin Range, the Bridger Range, the Crazy Mountains, the Pryor Mountains, and others.
 
•         Learn about the current plan and see for yourself the proposed geographic boundaries for wilderness, first hand.
•         Share information. Bring your knowledge of on-the-ground conditions, your opinions, and your questions so we can create key talking points to help us write clear and effective comments, and to share more widely so that others can use them for inspiration.
