  The Final Plan - Coming Early Summer -

The Custer Gallatin National Forest would like to take a moment to say 
thank you for all the public involvement and contributions in the Forest 
Planning process to date.

Since the draft plan comment period closed last summer, the Custer 
Gallatin has been working hard to review and analyze comments, respond 
to the concerns brought forward and prepare the final documents.


  What to Expect, What is Next?

We anticipate publishing the Final Plan and draft Record of Decision in 
early summer.

The publication of the draft Record of Decision will initiate a 60-day 
objection period. The final plan, final EIS with a summary of response 
to comments, associated maps, and other helpful documents will accompany 
the draft Record of Decision.
