Although it has been about five years since I retired, I spent the 
previous 30 years driving daily through the Bridger Canyon neighborhood, 
being the mailman. I was always impressed by the generosity and goodwill 
of those making their homes in the canyons. I felt then and still do 
that I was a part of the community, and the devastation and life 
altering change brings tears and heartache. Although I am untouched by 
the fire, it will leave scars that likely will never heal. You were so 
kind to me, I wish I could heal you.
