[Canyon] Fire survey results, forest recovery workshop

Hi neighbors -

The fire survey results are out, with a rough summary of common themes, at

One recurring topic is forest and vegetation recovery, so we're pursuing 
that.

Peter Kolb from the MSU Forestry Extension is working with Gallatin 
County extension to put together a workshop for fire impacted landowners 
on September 22nd from 5 to 7 PM at the extension office (903 N. Black 
Ave). This date is still a little tentative, and capacity may be limited 
by social distancing rules, but we will livestream it, or record it and 
distribute immediately after.

Peter is also doing some fire severity assessment and advice as time 
permits. If you'd be interested in such a service, let me know, and 
we'll try to line up additional resources.
