wind has shifted and is now pushing the fire back up
towards the ridge. Still burning but no longer heading
down into the canyon. Overall seems to be calming down.
Fire vehicles did head up into the hills below the fire
so they may be able to deal with any grass fires still
burning there. I have no idea what is being done on the
other side of the Bridgers but the smoke from that side
has definitely decreased. Fingers crossed that the fire
has stalled out, at least temporarily, and mitigation
measures can be concentrated on what is left. However,
the fire is not out and we will continue to monitor what
we can see and provide updates when there are
developments.</div>
