I agree with Bill that agencies should not rely on Facebook, or any
other platform that relies on ads and selling user data, as an exclusive
channel to serve public needs. In this case it is the USFS (not BCFD)
that is responsible.

However, I looked up the link on a clean machine, and it turns out that
there is a way to view the video without registering. First, go to the
Custer Gallatin Forest page:
https://www.facebook.com/CusterGallatinNationalForest/
Then, click on the Videos link in the left panel (highlighted in first
image). Look for the Bridger Foothills Fire video, currently first in
the collection.
The key is that you can ignore the banner at the bottom asking you to
register. If a similar panel pops up over the screen, there will be a
small "No Thanks" link which you can use to bypass registration.
