I like the 40 acre minimum, though I have seen 1 subdivision into 2 20 acre tracts. If that continues, the canyon will look like more of a subdivision in a town than the rustic Oasis it is now. I live on a grandfathered 10 acres, but you can’t see my house from the road, so it’s not intrusive. I would say nothing smaller than 20 acres if you must have density, but I really hope that doesn’t happen.
I am strongly in favor of maintaining a 40ac minimum!! We must try to do everything we can to try to maintain the tranquility and beauty of the canyon, it already is over built!
Partially due to the recent fire, but newer, more grandiose, multi-story, homes are much more prevalent and visible as you drive up the canyon today.
Should there not be an addition to the code requiring a minimum density and size of trees around new buildings to help mitigate the visual impact.
Speaking of eye sores, the owner of the large stock yards at the corner of Jackson Creek Rd. should be required to remove his burnt tractor with the signs on it. Why do we all have to endure looking at this ugly menace?

You would probably get more survey participation if the survey were here somewhere, or if it is here – where/how?
